Local Plan

Medway Council is producing a new Local Plan covering the period 2019 to 2037. The Local Plan sets out a vision for future development in the Medway Towns (and the Hoo Peninsula) to ensure that the needs of the area are met through a number of policies and proposals.

This new Local Plan will replace Medway Council's 2003 Local Plan. Hoo Parish Council will continue to make representations at the various stages of Medway Council's new Local Plan, including the publication of the draft Local Plan and the Independent Examination.
